Most of our ministry is to youth and families in The Valley, and our youth lounge and shop is open Tuesday-Saturday 2pm-8pm. We have consignment spaces available and want to help new businesses get started by offering our space rent-free. You read that right, rent-free. Why? Part of our mission is to help people in Willcox do well. Further, we want to provide entrepreneurial youth an opportunity to run their businesses at The Spring, teaching them business principles to help prepare them for life after high school.
The new rent-free business opportunity at The Spring
One of the greatest hindrances to the startup of new businesses is the cost–licensing, incorporating, taxes, rent, utilities, website, merchandise, promotions, insurance, and so on. We want to help alleviate some of that and get you on your way to starting your business; we believe our community will profit more and more. Simply fill out the form below and we will get started with your email consultation.
How it works
There are two options. 1) You can do business as part of The Spring, eliminating the up-front cost of licensing, incorporating, and insurance. We’ve got your back. 2) You can get your licensing, incorporate, pay your own taxes and insurance and operate as your own entity within The Spring. If you only have a dream, we recommend starting at number 1, and we will help you with the rest at the appropriate time. If you know what you are doing and just need space, we like starting at number 2. Either avenue you take, our ultimate goal is to get you sustainable and into your own place at the appropriate time. This is part of our non-profit ministry in Willcox and is available to anyone close enough to The Spring.
Doing Business as Part of The Spring
If you are just getting started and need all the help you can get, you can do business as part of The Spring. Since The Spring is a tax-exempt non-profit, you don’t even have to worry about taxes. What’s the catch? All revenue must be reinvested into the non-profit. This is one reason we want to help you register your business and move to number 2 (above) as quickly as we reasonably can–more profits in your pocket. You might ask, “How can I be paid if all revenue must be reinvested?” At this stage, The Spring would pay you a commission as an honorarium, to be decided during consultation, from your sales and investing the rest to replenish your inventory if applicable and help your business to thrive. We’ll include you every step of the way so you can see exactly how your earnings are being reinvested into you. Along the way, we will help you incorporate and get anything else done you need to get done before running your own business and paying your own taxes. You may prefer this option because you can do what you love, earn a commission that is like the profit you’d earn if you incorporated, and only pay personal income tax.
This option is available for most business types, excluding food-service because our current credentials and insurance does not allow for food to be prepared and served while we are open.
This option is available for youth who want to start a business but are not yet able to register their business.
For anyone who takes advantage of this option, we may offer grants to help with the cost of moving you to number two and eventually into your own building. Again, our dream is to see Willcox thrive.
Doing Business Under Your Own Registered Name
If you already have your business name and necessary paperwork completed, we simply want to offer our space until you can find your own place and afford it. You replenish your inventory, if applicable. You pay your own taxes. You use your own POS system. You provide your own insurance. We provide you space rent-free. You might ask, “How can you afford to do that?” Instead of charging you rent, we ask you do donate a percentage of your profits, to be decided during consultation. If you have your own registered business name and necessary registration but don’t want the trouble of managing your own finances, we can create a hybrid of numbers 1 and 2.
Some forms of foodservice can take advantage of #2 or the hybrid option.
Those same grants we mentioned earlier may be available to help you move into your own place when your business is ready.
Other services to help you succeed
Free of charge, your business will be included in some of our ad campaigns and receive a unique page on our website.
When you are ready, we can talk about your own website, branding, and unique ad campaigns–which are some of the services we offer.
Consignment space is available from $6/mo. if you would simply like to display your merchandise and have us sell it for you.
If you plug-in to The Spring, we will be offering college scholarships to those who show that they are interested in building sustainable lives–which benefit the whole community.
We look forward to serving you
All donations, including what receive from our consignment vendors and business partners, go to help sustain The Spring and our youth and family outreach efforts. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
The Spring of Willcox will be holding its first benefit on June 28. We will be featuring music from Andrew Cannon and The Simmons Family. Well, we have almost survived our first month open! We’ve had a couple people join #teamwillcox by renting consignment space and a couple amazing donors. Shoutout to:
Jules, Kati, Jennifer, and Amanda
for their monthly support. Thanks to:
Darby, Mindy, Dirk and Belle, Terry, and anyone else who made a one-time donation this month.
We could not have made it without you.
As we stand, we are less than 1% funded. Please take a moment to pray about giving monthly (bottom of this report). Every penny benefits youth in Willcox.
This month, we introduced Jam sessions, dance nights, a homeschool co-op meeting, and we are having our free benefit concert at the end of the month. Be sure to come to our free benefit concert to hear more about our vision and to ask any questions about the ministries we provide or what your donations are used for. We will also include details in our monthly reports. If you have been keeping up with our announcements, you already know that we are investing more in our youth than mere space and time. We have begun building a scholarship fund for Willcox youth who are thinking about higher education. Being a part of #teamwillcox is about more than consignment space or just paying the bills. It is an investment in the future–not only of Willcox but of the whole world. We don’t yet know how our children will spread their wings, but we want to do good for them.
This month, we started providing services for youth, families, businesses, entrepreneurs, artisans, musicians, artists, and vendors of all sorts. We still have much consignment and rental space available, so be sure to let us know how we can serve you and check out willcoxspring.com to see our list of services.
Remember, you can pre-load your child’s virtual snack card right here from the website or by stopping by if you don’t want to send cash with them.
I’d like to give a special thanks to Luther and Mindy, who have volunteered their time this month to keep The Spring open for regular hours and plan some events for Willcox youth.
A special note to other businesses or churches in and around Willcox: We need your support. More importantly, our youth need us to be more than mere businesses. There are many who care and many to do much for our community. Thank you. I ask you to join me in investing in our youth. I don’t benefit from what I am doing except to know that I have given to others. The Spring will not make it long without your ongoing financial investment in our youth. Please prayerfully consider contributing monthly. We will display your local business or church information on our website and at The Spring. You may also display our #teamwillcox badge online or at your business location. Check out our services for businesses and churches. Every penny benefits Willcox youth.

I want to tell you how The Spring has expanded its ministry to youth and families. In 2021, we have a greater need than ever to raise funds. God has moving us along more quickly chan we can keep up–which is a good thing but very stressful when everyone seems to want something but not many want to contribute. I want to take a moment to invite our friends, family, and community to partake in this work. Over the last few months, we have designed the Team Willcox Scholarship Fund because we feel a need to teach people how to fish rather than merely provide fish, according to the old adage and, we believe, Scripture. If you are a pastor, run a ministry, or own a small business, I want to ask you to consider getting involved, contributing, and becoming a mentor for the betterment of Willcox, AZ.
As I write this, we are in need of $6,100 more than we are currently receiving monthly. So, I need your help. Please read on and see how we hope to make Willcox a better place and promote our contributors.
Christoa Ministries was born in 2019. I promised God that I would walk through whatever doors He opened without question. Surprise, doors open. We are now doing humanitarian work in the US and around the world with the Gospel as our basis. Through our Gospel initiative, we support youth and children, orphans, widows and widowers, at-risk youth, and teachers through emphases on arts education & programming, promoting arts & culture, children’s arts & culture, and youth development. We are working toward zero poverty, zero hunger, quality education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, decent work and economic growth, reduced inequalities, sustainable cities and communities, peace, and justice and strong institutions.
Our model of world-betterment means equipping pastors and small businesses around the world for sustainability by teaching people to fish rather than merely providing them with proverbial fish and promoting lifestyles of humility and servitude rather than pride–which is the only viable path to true equality. It all begins with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We operate locations, like The Spring in Willcox, AZ, to empower the impoverished to end the cycle, reach out to youth and families, and serve as safe zones for the vulnerable. Through these locations, we seek to end addiction and see people free from the oppression of the world’s systems and categories.
Through our international partnerships with pastors, we are seeing children rescued from trafficking operations, orphans find families, and widows cared for. We are also seeing excommunicated Muslims find refuge from persecution by their own families.
We seek to fund scholarships that apply to youth in The Sulfur Springs Valley and grants that encourage sustainability and improve the condition of the whole world through those we invest in. We believe that Christ came to save the world, not destroy it. We believe that His kingdom of peace and justice is overtaking the world, and we have a part to play.
None of our executives receive paychecks from Christoa Ministries. We are sincerely invested in bettering the world and saving lives through the work of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We want to invite you to partner with us from anywhere in the world. We won’t feed you some false promise about faith healing or receiving miracle money in return for your investment. Sacrifice with us. Your sacrifice has a part in the kingdom work we do. Let’s change the world, not shortchange it.
We believe in the local church and invest in the local church. We humbly ask that you do not stop giving to your local church in order to give to The Spring. If you give to The Spring, please give above what you give to your local church and encourage your local church to get involved in this worldwide ministry.

We seek to give scholarships and grants to promising individuals with sustainability in mind depending on how much is available from contributors. If you would like to contribute to our scholarship and grants funds, please donate here. Your donations help young people in and around Willcox go to school, start small businesses, plant sustainable churches, startup sustainable ministries, and alleviate poverty in meaningful ways (see below).
How your sacrificial donation is used (or not):
None of our executives are paid, so your donation goes directly toward non-profit causes each time, every time.
We no longer provide on-demand needs, meaning your sacrificial gifts are used more efficiently and for the good of the world.
When we offer scholarships, those scholarships are based on an individual’s vision for sustainability in life. The same is true for grants.
We do not discriminate based on skin color, sex, gender, political views, or religious affiliation.
We are a reformed Christian organization. We do not discriminate on these bases because we believe God wants us to serve others unconditionally.
We do withhold scholarships and grants from individuals who may use the grant to support a platform by which they hope to oppress or rule over others.
Rather than giving people fish and feeding them for a day, we desire sustainability, which, we believe, will alleviate poverty and facilitate true equality not only in the US but around the world.
We do not have “programs” like other non-profits. Our youth lounge is always open. We do have training through online meetings with leadership, consultations, and mentorship for those who receive our scholarships and grants. So, when you invest in The Spring, we invest in people. We are not a drive-by charity that hands out money and goes about our business. We are investing in people for the long-term. This is how we are, collectively, seeing the world changed in Christ.
